携前两部影片大卖之余威，伊森亨特卷土重来了，单薄不知所谓的剧情，戛然而止没有高潮的结尾，都预示着本片的失败，更是为当时汤哥岌岌可危的演艺事业撒了把盐，其实全球票房不是很差，可是那是汤哥的电影啊，好莱坞权势榜上数一数二的人物，如今也日薄西山了。
